What can I say about The Viper? If they awarded Championships for Breed Comedian, he'd win his hands down! From his "mushy lips" that he makes when he wants hugs and kisses, to his "Elvis" impersonation, to his habit of climbing into your lap, this dog will do ANYTHING to make people smile, laugh or applaud--he is the consumate showman! He thinks nothing of sacrificing the infamous Akita Dignity if it will make someone's day! At the Akita National Specialty in Denver, Colorado in 1999, he brought the house down while strutting his stuff during the Parade of Champions to "his" very own special song by AC/DC--the more people screamed and cheered and applauded for him, the more he strutted, it will always be one of my happiest memories with him, we had a great time that night!
Viper was bred by Michelle Phifer, Rio Akitas and has grown up with my 11 year old son. Viper will be 12 next summer--how time flies and what a time it's been! He's been aTV watching, throw pillow for my son, he's been just a joy to know and a joy to own! He is special buddy to our Momma Scarlett, they are like an old married couple together--LOL, they even swipe flies off each other's back when they're sunning themselves on our deck!
Nothing like being at DKC, one of the few remaining prestigous, all breed benched shows in the country with mushy-man!
